Why It’s Not Always About the Money

he-steve-chou

Today’s guest on Hack the Entrepreneur is a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, professional blogger, podcaster, and an entrepreneur.

Shockingly, he’s also an engineering director for the firm that makes the microprocessors that go into your iPhone. Yes, he has a high-demand job and a side-business that gives him more income than most people’s full-time businesses.

He and his wife started their first business, Bumblebee Linens, after his wife became pregnant and wanted to quit her job. Their online store managed to replace her $100,000 salary in just a year.

He is the founder of MyWifeQuitHerJob.com where he offers advice on blogging and starting up small businesses. He is also the host of the My Wife Quit Her Job podcast, an interview show involving small business entrepreneurs who started their ventures to improve their lifestyles.

Now, let’s hack …

Steve Chou.

In this 30-minute episode of Hack the Entrepreneur, host Jon Nastor and Steve Chou discuss:

  • The power of consistency (and why slow and steady wins the race)
  • The key problem with outsourcing
  • How to validate your ideas before spending time and money
